Annapolis Maryland based HOT TEXAS SUN are excited to announce the release of there title track 'Dirty LiL Secret' which features core members Edward Plant on bass guitar and Keil McMurray on drums along with guest performer Lakin Ducker on saxophone. This high energy combination of players fronted by lead guitarist / vocalist Ben McNulty deliver a twist of punk/ska with a sprinkle of down home psychobilly. McNulty is recognized nationally for his style of hybrid guitar picking and has gained national recognition as a opening performer for such legendary greats as Albert Lee, Nils Lofgren, Clarence Clemmons, and Cindy Cashdollar. Being a founding member of the reggae/ska/punk super group Bumpin Uglies McNulty has extended his creative insight by writing a high energy fast driving song that combines elementary simplicity with elaborate and skillful insight. The title track 'Dirty Lil Secret' is a collaboration of some of Annapolis Maryland's most prominent musicians and features original creative input from each member. The lyrics were written by Ben McNulty and Rick Hogue. Dirty Lil Secret depicts the story of ones struggle of being in a relationship with a lying unfaithful partner who says one thing but does another.
